Be one of our 2012 Sporting Heroes

We have a range of sporting events for you to take part in this year. It's the year of the London Olympics so now is the time to put on your running shoes or get on a bike! Highlights are detailed below but download our 2012 Sporting Hero Events Listing for full details.

Run

The fantastic Great Manchester 10k Run takes place on the 20th May 2012. This amazing event takes over the city centre and receives wonderful support. We have a number of places so why not join our running team and be part of it this year? See you at the start!

The Great North Run - Half Marathon is on 16th September. We have a number of guaranteed places for this event.

29th July is the date for the Great Warford 10 mile road race which starts and finishes at David Lewis. Visit www.wilmslowrunningclub.org.uk for more information.

The Tatton Yule Yomp is a festive 10k or 3 k taking place just down the road in Tatton Park on 9th December. Visit www.tattonyuleyomp.co.uk to enter.


Swim
The Great North Swim takes place in Lake Windermere over the weekend of 22nd-24th June. The main event is a one mile swim in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District.

Cycle

Lots of options here from the London to Paris cycle taking place between the 19th -27th September to Lands End to John O'Groats from 19th June to 2nd July.

Or why not Run Swim and Cycle with the Tatton Triathlon taking place locally on 8th and 9th September?
